Don’t say “soap opera”, but unless there is an evil twin reveal, this feels dirty!

The popular daytime drama “Days of Our Lives” has been on TV since 1965, but now it seems that the longtime run is coming to an end.

NBC has announced that the show will be going on an indefinite hiatus and the entire cast has been released from their contracts. There are enough episodes to finish out the rest of the season, which is number 55.

Execs are still deciding on season 56.  The Kelly Clarkson talk show has been picked up nationally and will be the new lead in for Ellen Degeneres talk show. Finding a new timeslot for DAYS OF OUR LIVES maybe the issue.
