- Taylor Swift’s “Lover” album is now the U.S. top-selling album of 2019. Swift’s new album has dethroned “A Star Is Born” soundtrack selling over 500,000 by its second release day.
“A Star Is Born” has sold 440,000 copies since its release through August 22nd.
Swift’s previous album, “Reputation” sold 1.216 million copies in its first week back in November 2017, the projection for “Lover” is that it will outsell “Reputation” by the end of the week.
