Buckingham Palace announced in January the engagement of Princess Eugenie (Daughter of HRH Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson) and her long-term boyfriend, Jack Brooksbank.

Eugenie, age 28, is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. She began dating Jack Brooksbank, age 32, a nightclub manager, about seven years ago after they met skiing in the Swiss resort of Verbier. The wedding will take place October 12, 2018 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. That’s the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just got hitched.

Eugenie is a member of the British royal family,and is currently ninth in the line of succession, but she does not require the Queen’s permission to marry

That means this year, two commoners will be joining the royal family, Meghan Markle and Mr. Brooksbank. Brooksbank’s parents are Nicola and George, an accountant and a company director, per People. He also has one brother named Thomas. At one point he managed the popular London nightclub Mahiki, and is currently the UK ambassador for George Clooney and Rande Gerber’s tequila brand, Casamigos.

Rumor has it that the original wedding date had to be pushed back in order to accommodate the busy royal schedule, including a potential foreign tour for Prince Harry and Meghan. NO official word yet on if it will be televised, but it will be well covered by the world wide press.
