Everybody remembers the first vinyl album they bought or got as a gift, right? Mine was unusual, as it was the soundtrack to John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together, which was on TV in 1979. I listened to that album ALL YEAR LONG, because I loved John Denver and The Muppets separately, and having together was perfection!

Flash forward to today, and I discover that The Muppets have continued to make great holiday music in their own special ways. Watch Animal, the Swedish Chef and Beaker sing their hearts out in their rendition of “Ringing of the Bells.”

I’ve always had a sweet spot for Animal, which is why I think I fell in love with and married a drummer, but Beaker was also too sweet to ignore. If you have time for one more video today, I recommend this classic from Beaker doing Ode To Joy.
