Michael Phelps tells Entertainment Tonight that he is looking forward to racing a shark on Sunday night.

He will be wearing a monofin during the race. The custom-made set of flippers allow him to mimic the shark’s tail fin. This should allow him to swim faster.

He stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s to go over his love of sharks and revealed just how close he was willing to get to his favorite animals. Catch the whole thing go down, “Phelps vs. Shark: Great Gold vs. Great White” at 8 p.m. ET Sunday on Discovery, as part of the channel’s annual “Shark Week.”
