Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Order Diet Coke On A Flight

The Daily Mirror claims flight attendants wish passengers wouldn’t order Diet Coke on flights because it takes longer to pour the drink than other cocktails. The cabin’s lower air pressure makes the drink fizzier than other sodas.

One flight attendant, who wishes to remain anonymous, tells the paper; ”Soft drinks foam up a lot more when poured out of a can, and the worst culprit for this is Diet Coke — I literally have to sit and wait for the bubbles to fall before I can continue pouring. If all 3 passengers ask for Diet Coke I’ll often get them started, take another three drink orders, serve those, and then finish the Diet Cokes.”

Luckily, I don’t drink diet, but will you stop ordering it now that you know you’re making the attendants life hell?
