Universal Pictures just secured the rights to the screenplay “Blonde Ambition,” about Madonna’s first album, to kick off the development process for the singer’s biopic, “Blond Ambition.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will follow the early life and career of the pop superstar in the 1980s. The project will focus on the creation of Madonna’s first album as she finds herself in life with a budding romance and issues within the music industry, just before her ground-breaking “Like a Virgin” album.
Although it is still unclear if the film has been approved by Madonna herself, it has already been noticed by “Fifty Shades of Grey’s” Michael De Luca for production.
This might have to be turned into a trilogy, because Madonna has done a lot in her career.
