Back in October, JT caused a stir during the election when he posted a selfie inside of a Memphis voting booth, which could have lead to a $50 fine and up to 30 days in jail. Thankfully, he’s clear of all potential consequences as lawmakers in his home-state have ruled that photography and videotaping devices are now allowed to capture filled-out ballots as of last week.
However, there is one stipulation. Even though you’re allowed to take footage of yourself in the voting poll stations, any acts of voter intimidation, fraud or selling a vote are not prohibited.
So, you can thank Justin Timberlake for allowing selfies or videotaping inside of a voting booth, at least in Tennessee
