Katy Perry’s commented about her “mental health” on the Grammys red carpet Sunday and it’s got Britney Spears fans ticked off! Was Katy throwing shade?
Ryan Seacrest asked Katy why she’s been MIA from music since the release of her 2013 album “Prism,” and she said, “It’s called taking care of your mental health. I haven’t shaved my head yet.”
Britney fans thought that remark was a reference to her very public meltdown in 2007, when she shaved her head and was photographed swinging an umbrella at paparazzi.
Not only were people bothered that she was poking fun at Britney, but many felt it was insensitive to anybody suffering from mental health issues…which led to fans creating a hashtag to get ride of Katy called, #KatyPerryIsOverParty and it immediately started trending on Twitter.
