Disney has announced that The Lion King will be getting the same live-action ‘re-imagining’ mixup as The Jungle Book. Jon Favreau, who also directed ‘The Jungle Book’ will be directing this movie as well.
‘The Jungle Book’ earned nearly $970 million in theaters and everyone is already waiting in line to see The Beauty and the Beast movie.
So news that The Lion King remake has got us all saying “Yasssss!”
Also, in headlining news, Disney has confirmed they are doing a live action Tinkerbell starring Reese Witherspoon, a live action Cruella starring Emma Stone, and a live action Dumbo directed by Tim Burton.
