The “Rise” singer, Katy Perry is about to have your fellow students and co-workers jealous of your new foot wear! The superstar is about to lauch her shoe collection and we can’t wait to buy a pair… or seven.

Although she’s been slightly off the radar, that doesn’t mean she isn’t working. She teamed up with Global Brand Group to create a collection of sandals, heels, stilettos and sneakers. WWD caught up with her on her new business project.

“It’s been a creative goal of mine to be a real contributor in the affordable fashion space,” she said. “Launching a footwear collection felt like a natural first step for me. After years of investigating and researching partnerships to find the right fit for the debut of my line, I found that Global Brands most resonated with my artistic ideas. They understand my vision, my eye for detail, and have the international reach and resources to bring my canvas of ideas to life.
