Shawn Mendes is preparing for another chapter in his career with the launch of his sophomore album, Illuminate, and the cover art for the forthcoming release surfaced on Tuesday (July 5) along with a few other juicy details about the campaign.
#TeamMendes will be able to buy a copy of the 17-year-old heart throb’s new album, which includes the lead single “Treat You Better,” on September 23. Fans can pre-order the LP on Friday to automatically get an album cut called “Ruin.” Three other songs are expected to drop before the album is released. You’ll also be happy to learn that you can also head over to Mendes’ official online store for limited edition bundles of Illuminate.

Mendes will celebrate the release with his first headlining show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 10. Fan pre-sale tickets are expected to go on sale this coming Saturday and Sunday.
