There’s something really magical about this viral video trend . . . because of its truly elegant randomness.

The hottest social media trend is called the Running Man Challenge.  It started on March 31st, when two guys on the University of Maryland’s basketball team filmed themselves doing a weird dance that’s half running man-half samba.

But you know the song they picked?  “My Boo” by the Ghost Town DJs from 1996.  Then they made more videos dancing to the song, other people have picked it up . . . and it’s officially a trend.
