Lady Gaga is showing that she stands behind Kesha by sharing a picture, on her Twitter page, of the pair sitting next to each other, holding hands as they leaned into each other with eyes closed with the caption, “Free Kesha.”

Since a New York judge’s ruling on Friday, denying Kesha’s bid to get out of her contract with producer Dr. Luke, she has received overwhelming support from her peers including Taylor Swift who donated $250,000 over the weekend in a ‘show of support’ to help Kesha in her legal battle.

You’ll recall that Kesha accused Dr. Luke of sexually assaulting her. Dr. Luke denied the allegations and his attorney called Kesha’s accusations “outright lies that have been advanced to extort a contract renegotiation and money. The ruling on Friday was not the final judgment in the case, but the legal setback prompted Kesha to sob in court which lead to the outpouring of support.
