Late Late Show host James Corden spots Chris Martin looking for a ride to San Francisco to perform with Coldplay in the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
The two then proceeded to sing Coldplay hits like “Yellow” and “Viva La Vida.” They also paid tribute to David Bowie by belting out “Heroes.” Furthermore, Martin showed off his spot-on impression of Mick Jagger. Later, the two took a break from their road trip and checked into a motel, where they spooned in bed. They woke up the next morning to find their car stolen and opted to ride a tandem bike to San Francisco.
These are always worth watching.
Plus congrats to James Corden on being selected to host the 2016 Tony Awards in June!
The TONYS will air live from New York’s Beacon Theater on CBS on June 12. It will be Corden’s first time hosting the event, although in his native England he’s hosted the music industry’s BRIT Awards five times since 2009. Corden won a Tony Award in 2012 for his lead role in the comedic play One Man, Two Guvnors. The 2016 Tony nominees will be announced on May 3.
