Joe Buck is a well known sportscaster and son of the legendary sportscaster Jack Buck. As lead play-by-play announcer for FOX’s Major League Baseball, he is in the position again this year to call the World Series. The TBS network will air the National League division and championship series, but the final games will be on FOX.

Joe Buck has already called 17 World Series, 17 All-Star games and four Super Bowls for Fox Sports. Yet, Buck recently told the Chicago Tribune there still is one huge item on his wish list.

“If I could call Cubs games in the World Series, it would be the highlight of my career,” Buck said.

I just so happened to have my phone camera running at the EVENING OF STARS 2012 fundraiser for the American Red Cross, and Joe Buck was the celebrity guest speaker. An audience member asked Joe during an open Q n A moment what a Cubs World Series win call would sound like.

The admitted Cardinals fan and St.Louis native, smiled an obliged with this:

Could this be the year the Cubs save baseball? hmmmmmmm
