As we continue to celebrate our 40th anniversary, we thought it would be fun to look back on some past BNQers to see what they’re doing now. This week, we didn’t even have to go looking — he came to us.
You may remember Tony Travatto…he was the program director (translation: the boss) of WBNQ from 2000-2005 and was on the air afternoons and then during the workday. After leaving WBNQ, he became a bigwig type with another large radio company, and now he oversees five stations in Detroit. One of those stations has a legendary morning show — not unlike The Susan Show on BNQ — and last week, Mojo In The Morning became a little embarrassed by Tony…or more specifically, how he dresses. Here’s what Mojo said:
“We have a hot boss who buys all of his clothes at OLD NAVY. So we gave him a complete makeover.”

They also gave away Tony’s cargo shorts after they finished the makeover, which is exceedingly creepy, but that’s how they roll in Detroit.
Check out more pictures and audio from the makeover here.
Happy #TBT!
