I have been asked for the recipe 4 times this week already, so here it is again!

No beans in my recipe? I love beans, but this is meant to be shared, and because I work in small studios that I share with others, gas can be a problem for some. Go ahead and add your own if you will be working alone. Or outside. Or down wind.

Combine ingredients, cover and bring to a boil for 10 minutes, stir, then reduce heat to simmer and leave covered for 45 minutes minimum before serving. I enjoy a teaspoon of sour cream on top with a few extra diced raw onions too. Hubby likes cheese and oyster crackers on top. Your choice!

1-2 pounds ground beef browned and drained
(depends on how meaty you like yours)
2 large cans diced tomatoes with juice
1 small can tomato paste
1 medium sized can tomato sauce
1 large sweet yellow onion, chopped
1 bag frozen sliced bell peppers, or 1 yellow, 1 red and 1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1-2 Jalapeno green peppers seeded and diced
1/4 cup chili powder
3 tablespoons ketchup
2  Reese’s peanut butter cups per hot pepper diced in (or two tablespoons creamy peanut butter)
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 can beer (Other half goes into the chef)

Chili is a bit hard to fail at. Just keep tasting and fixing until you love it!

Want to really kick the spice up without sacrificing flavor? Add a couple of good sized squirts of Sriacha sauce which is a wonderful red jalapeno hot sauce with rooster on the front of the bottle with a green top.
