An Ed Sheeran fan got the surprise of her life while singing “Thinking Out Loud” at a Canadian mall when he joined her on stage for a duet!

Ed happened to be in a music store at West Edmonton Mall when he heard his own hit song being sung just outside the store. 13-year-old Sydney Bourbeau was singing as part of a fundraiser for the local Humane Society.

Ed hopped on stage and joined the performance.

If she seems unusually calm, it’s because she initially thought someone had come on stage to fix the microphone, Bourbeau told the Edmonton Journal. Once she realized it was Sheeran, she wasn’t sure what she should do.

“I was like, should I stop? I didn’t want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him,” Bourbeau told the newspaper. “This is, like, the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

After the performance, Ed’s manager contacted the girl and offered her tickets to an upcoming performance!!!

Lucky!!!
