Astrophysicist Stephen Hawking made a holographic appearance at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday. It was the first time someone has ever appeared at the theater as a hologram.
“Although I would love to be there in person,” he said to the audience, “the idea of being the first person to appear as a hologram at the stage at the Opera House was too good an offer to refuse.”
Hawking spoke of his life and his work, and he touched on how technology is currently influencing daily life.
“In a way the internet connects us all together like neurons in the giant brain,” he said. “With such an IQ, what won’t we be capable of?”
But it was the subject of the band ONE DIRECTION that Professor Hawking had his own theory on saying: ‘Finally, a question about something important.’ Watch his charming, intelligent, and hope inspiring response in the video!
