Sometimes when 4 people put their heads together, magical things can happpen. That was the case at trivia night at Joe’s Pub last night. The Table Jackers were working with a skeleton crew, consisting of Laura Ewan, Promo Brandi, our friend Danny, Jenny on the FaceTime during the first category, and the brains of the operation (me). But that didn’t stop us. Mostly due to our tremendous head start with the first category, One Direction.
I have never seen Laura Ewan so nervous in my life. Saying things like, “If we don’t win this category, it will be the biggest disappointment of my life.” And, “Ok, their moms’ names are Anne, Maura, etc.”
There’s no way the questions are going to be that ridiculous, right? Knowing the Twin City Trivia team, the questions will probably have nothing to do with One Direction…
Well, they did. Except for one: What artist beat out One Direction for the top slot on Forbes biggest earners under 30?
If your guess was Taylor Swift, so was ours.

That’s ok. We had momentum and we weren’t going to lose it for Round 2: Scrubs.
Thank goodness for Danny, who is currently watching the entire season again for the second time. He knew the dog’s name was Baxter, Dr. Cox’s middle name was Ulysses, and so much more.
We plunged through rounds of Famous Movie Quotes, Astrological queries, and Serial Killers, holding on to #1 the entire time.
Ummmmm….. HOW RUDE
