Last night, bitterly cold tempuratures in Blono did not freeze the spirits of true trivia lovers. Armed with Italian Beef sandwiches, tenderloins, and brews, we were ready to charge into the trivia battlefield with brains of steel.
This week, categories were right in our wheelhouse. With categories like SNL Celebrity Jeopardy, State Capitals (I’m a real nerd), and One Hit Wonders, how could we not win?
Well we didn’t. “Therapists” (SNL Celebrity Jeopardy joke) led for the entire game until “The Wet Bandits” got one more answer right in the Final Round to overtake them and win 1st place.
We really had some amazing answers though, mostly from Radio Bloomington sales master, Carl. Pulling though with answers like J.K. Rowling in the Initials category, he was the MVP for sure. He even knew what group did “It’s Raining Men” in the One Hit Wonders round.

We also learned that Laura Ewan performed a dance to this in high school. We have people working on digging that one up…

All-in-all, it was a good night for the Table Jackers! We won the prestigious 3rd Place spot, meaning we get to choose a category for next week.
With Laura Ewan and Promo Brandi on our team, of course the category is going to be One Direction…
At least we’ll win that round.
