“Play 4Kay” PINK Game February 12-Redbirds Host Bradley[AUDIO]

“Play 4Kay” PINK game to support the Kay Yow Cancer Fund on February 12th, when the Redbirds host Bradley at 2:05 p.m. Admission to the game will be $1, along with $1 hot dogs and pink lemonade. Pink Nike T-shirts will be sold for $20 each with all proceeds benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Before the game, visit the Kay Yow website at KayYow.com, and order tickets for this special event at GoRedbirds.com, or through the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000.

The purpose of the event surrounding the game will be to raise awareness for breast cancer and other women’s health issues.  I.S.U.’s Women’s Basketball team will be wearing pink jerseys and shoes for the game. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support of breast cancer awareness.

Coach Stephanie Glance stopped into Susan’s studio Thursday morning to talk about the event, which is named after her friend Kay Yow.
