Well once again the bar for proposals has been raised. This guy took his girlfriend to the site of their first date, which happened to be a taping of 'The Colbert Report' (awesome first date by the way). He not only proposed but got to do a little bit with Stephen Colbert and got an on-air reference when they came back from the commercial break.

I have been watching The Office since it got to America. Along with the movie Napoleon Dynamite, I think The Office introduced "awkward" to viewers and changed the business of humor almost completely. The show also offered us Jim and Pam and kept our heart strings busy while it was perfecting how the funniest part to a scene could happen without a word.
But, that was five years ago, really.

Geese like to hang out by my front door and when I went home for lunch today one stared me down and hissed at me because it's goslings were near by. I don't mess with goslings. Ryan Goslings yes, but not bird goslings.

I don't think I could possibly count how many days I have spent having fun at the Bloomington Sale Barn. Located on the corner of Rt 51 and Hamilton roads in Bloomington, the facility housed music events, car sales, and the Beer Nuts Outlet shop. Today, those memories were brought back as the building was brought down. We all knew this day was coming, but it was still sad to see it go.
