The Illinois State University Symphonic Winds will perform in concert on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall.  Tickets are $8 for general admission, $7 for faculty/staff and $6 for students and seniors.

The Symphonic Winds will perform Adam Gorb’s Awayday; Vincent Persichetti’s Pageant, op. 59; Trittico by Vaclav Nelhybel; Handel in the Strand by Percy Grainger; Fisher Tull’s Sketches on a Tudor Psalm; and Symphony No. 2 for Winds and Percussion by John Barnes Chance.  The Symphonic Winds will be conducted by Stephen Steele, director of bands in Illinois State’s School of Music, and graduate student Jerusha Johnson.
